Preview of Number Seven at the Verbal Arts Centre

To celebrate the completion of Number Seven, the Verbal Arts Centre invited the University of Ulster choir and the alto Mark Chambers to give a short preview performance. The choir were joined by the creators Sean Doherty and Carlo Gebler, who talked about how they were inspired to write Number Seven; by Gerry Lynch, secretary of the Spartans Athletics Club, who gave a perspective from the sports people involved, and by local BBC sports commentator Richie Kelly who provided a sense of the local sporting context from which the piece emerged.
